On Weds 24th November 2010 we held a breakfast seminar titled 'Key Steps for Effective Strategic Change for Small and Medium sized Practices'.  There were three speakers at the event: 


Summary:

  1. Rob Johnson discussed ‘Embracing Change’ he spoke about how SMP’s must expect change, get to know their client better, take leadership and become responsive to change.
     
  2. Eamonn Leahy gave a powerful talk on ‘Key Steps For Effective Strategic Change’ outlining how his business worked through the economic downturn in 1991 and how SMP’s must strategically plan for crisis by defining future practice through self-evaluation, education and training, by building an up-to-date marketing plan there is a way forward and finally SMP’s must believe in the power of planning.  
  3. Paul Carroll’s ‘Business Development & Market Commentary’ ended the seminar on a positive and practical note, emphasising key areas for business growth in Ireland and the benefits of embracing the evolution of technology and opportunities regardless of location.

Rob Johnson is 4th generation in a family Business where he safely doubled €100M turnover in a very short period. Rob joined a Business Coaching franchise in 2003, currently holds Non Executive Directorships, started a telesales business and is actively buying businesses.
