Considering the downturn in the banking industry an optimistic turn has occurred. According to Erica Skelly Principal Consultant in Careers Register, they are experiencing a major increase in demand for candidates with experience in personal banking or mortgages holding a QFA, part or fully qualified certificate in consumer credit or a certificate in mortgage practice.
Although the current outlook is positive there is a notable shortage of these candidates. The economic climate inevitably caused a number of people to cease their QFA studies. Advice from across the sector is to continue in pursuit of the qualification, as there is still demand and jobs to be found.
